prelim. poster ideas for Kate tribute

The one that isn’t of Kate is of our grandmother Laury Coté at about age 10 or 11 brandishing a pot-bellied mandolin, probably a prop in the photographer’s studio, though I have a vague recollection of such a mandolin in my grandparents’ country house in Ste-Dorothee, Qc (now part of Laval.) Laury’s hands with their long fingers are so reminiscent of Kate’s.

It’s interesting that I, with my penchant for le mot juste, am visually illiterate. The poster that ended up at Town Hall was perfect. Both Kate and Grandmaman lead with their right foot. Ah! The wonders of the Human jean gnome
I like them all. Why is your ancestor on a stand?
